Football training is flooded with self-proclaimed footwork guru’s, Instagram trainers and sales experts. Unfortunately, many of these dudes lack any true knowledge on how to develop a hungry athlete. It is confusing where to go, who to trust and how to spend your time. And it’s frustrating to think that you could be wasting your money by investing in people and places that simply cannot help.

Since 2009, Sweat’s Elite Football Program has:

  • Improved over one hundred NFL athletes
  • Developed hundreds of division 1, 2 and 3 athletes football players.
  • “Trained and mentored over ten kids from their 1st day of high school until the very day that they were drafted into the NFL.” -Terence Garvin

“We coach football players at every level. Our youngest athletes start at age 8. Our oldest athletes range up to 10-year veterans in the NFL. Our football program improves strength, speed, footwork and stamina, but our training is a hell of a lot bigger than recording your lifts onto onto a worthless piece of paper. Our athletes get coached on increased awareness, reaction time, efficient movement patterns, first step explosiveness and mental toughness.” – Jimmy Smith

Sweat’s football program is created and facilitated by a former NFL safety. We understand the battles–mentally, physically and emotionally–that youth athletes, college players and professional athletes face…and we can help. We have improved Super Bowl Champions, Pro Bowlers and High School and College All-Americans.

The demand on an NFL player’s body is undeniable. The massive collisions, limitless injury potential and general wear and tear take a toll on every player’s body. Every year, the first month of Sweat’s offseason training program focuses on restoration. As our players begin to roll back through our doors in February, our primary goal is to get each guy back to a functional and pain-free place. During those first four weeks, our program will promote health and secure longevity by implementing core stabilization, flexibility and mobility. Once we get our guys back to a healthy place, we turn up the intensity and progress into more demanding resistance training and we begin to integrate speed, agility, and position specific drills. (Jimmy Smith)

  • Situational footwork

For over ten years, our trainers have developed players at the highest level. All-Pro recipients, Pro Bowlers and Super Bowl Champions have also all chosen us as their offseason training grounds. Our competitive advantage is that we can take guys who move incredibly well….and we can teach them exactly what they need to do to move quicker, faster, more efficiently and more safely. Our teaching, coaching and polishing of movement patterns has kept guys from the league coming to us year-after-year. Are you a special teams guy that wants to carve out a place on the offense or defense? Or a freak athlete who can’t seem to grasp the fundamentals that will make you great? We can help. We have done it before. And we will continue doing it. (Lardarius Webb)

Come through and see why our guys break the bank (Ray Rice)

Being a college football player at the highest level has become a full time job. From the day you step on campus to the day you leave college, your school and their football programs will make sure that you earn that scholarship. Nothing in life is free. Overnight, your free time will become virtually non-existent. Less free time means less time to separate yourself from the pack. For the next few years, everything will be done together…as a team. You will practice…as a team. You will lift…as a team. You will train…as a team. The issue is this: Everyone will be getting better at the exact same rate. Great for the team? Sure. Great for you? Maybe, maybe not. You have to find extra time throughout any given day, week, month or year to still find a way to gain your edge. Practices and workouts that are packed with dozens of other dudes–and only a handful of coaches who actually know how to make you better–simply isn’t going to cut it.

Sweat’s college track record includes

  • Over 100 football Division-1 football players trained, mentored and improved
  • Clients in the SEC, BIG 12, PAC-12, ACC AND BIG EAST
  • NFL Draft picks
  • All-Americans and All-Conference Recipients

High School

In a time where social media is king, Baltimore’s football community is getting lost on what to work on, who to work with and how to work smart. We have dudes out here in this city teaching kids to do ten variations of footwork in a single drill…..but all ten variations are sorry and diluted. The whole purpose of developing high school football players is to build a solid foundation first and then build out from there. Too many grown men are teaching our kids to skip steps…and those shortcuts are coming back to haunt guys at the next level.

Sweat’s High School track record includes:

  • Over 100 clients who went on to earn college football scholarships
  • High School All-Americans
  • Maryland All-State
  • All-Metro Baltimore
  • All-Conference

We teach our guys how to run most efficiently and why that’s the best way to run. We teach our guys how to cut most efficiently and exactly where they will use those cuts in a game. Our content is real. We aren’t out here teaching video game garbage. We are teaching real game mentalities. We are teaching real game situations. And we prepare your mind and your body for the real game battles that you will face. Since 2009, we have developed Baltimore’s hungriest.

Our high school football program features:

  • Speed development
  • Reactive footwork drills
  • Position specific agility training
  • Sport specific core work
  • Full Body Strength training
  • Mobility + Flexibility

Young Bulls

Too many kids mastering the tricks. Not enough kids mastering the trade. Sound about right?
We are throwback dudes at Sweat. We don’t pretty in all that pretty nonsense that doesn’t translate to the long term development of the youth. We coach our football kids the way that they are meant to be coached….from the ground up. We coach every single the way we deem coach worthy. In addition to hammering technique on drills and exercises, we coach the young fellas on attitude, work ethic, leadership, being coachable and everything in between. We help our kids develop the physical tools needed to dominate. We challenge our kids to develop the mental and emotional toughness needed to survive in the world’s most demanding game.

We invest a lot of time making sure that our kids perfect the fundamentals. We also make sure the kids understand why the fundamentals are the building blocks for long term success in football and in life. Our young bulls program has seen rec kids advance to high school scholarships and then again to college scholarships.

We work with the best youth football programs in Maryland. People choose to bring their kids from all over Maryland just to train at Sweat. It’s bigger than training. We prepare these dudes for life. And it keeps everybody coming back.
